  • In the event of a Company, Limited Liability Partnership, Cooperative Society, Society, or Trust, the organisation or its authorised signatory must supply its GSTIN, PAN, and Aadhaar number in addition to its Aadhaar number.
  • If a firm is registered as an Udyam with a PAN, it must self-declare any information shortcomings for past years when it did not have a PAN.
  •  No firm may submit more than one Udyam Registration; however, any number of manufacturing, service, or both operations may be indicated or added to a single Udyam Registration.
  •  Whoever intentionally misrepresents or seeks to conceal self-declared facts and figures in the Udyam Registration or update procedure shall be punished.
  • All businesses currently registered under EM–Part II or UAM must re-register on the Udyam Registration platform on or after July 1, 2020.
  • All registered businesses prior to June 30, 2020 shall be reclassified in line with this notification.
  •  Existing firms registered before to June 30, 2020 will be valid only until March 31, 2021.Any business registered with another Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises organisation must also register with Udyam Registration.
  • Programme of the Prime Minister for Employment Creation (PMEGP) By establishing new self-employment projects across the country, the PMEGP plan intends to provide job possibilities for MSMEs in both rural and urban locations.
  • Trust Fund for the Credit Guarantee of Micro and Small Businesses (CGTMSE)  The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) was created by the Ministry of MSME and SIDBI to administer the Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSEs. The Government of India and SIDBI contribute to the corpus of the CGTMSE.
  • Credit-Linked Capital Subsidy for Technology Development (CLCSS) To promote technology for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises through institutional financing for the introduction of well-established and proven technologies in the designated 51 sub-sectors/products. Both new and upgrade projects (with or without expansion) are admissible.
